附注项	额题前《题记》纪年“元丰八年”。可见此书当为福州东禅寺所刻《大藏经》之一部分，书根题“三”也表明此为全本之第三册。福州东禅寺大藏经于北宋元丰三年(1080年)开雕，崇宁二年竣工，全藏共6434卷，580函，是首部私刻汉文大藏经，也是首次采用经折装形式的藏经，版式成为以后大藏经的楷模。现各地仅存零本。 The inscription before the caption title has the record of a date in A.D.1085. It can be inferred that this book should be a part of Da Zang Jing which was printed by Dong-chan Temple in Fuzhou. The character “three” noted on the bottom side of this book also proved that this book was the third book of the complete collection. Da Zang Jing printed by Dong-chan Temple in Fuzhou was starting to be carved in A.D.1080 and was completed in A.D.1103. The complete collection is of 6434 volumes in 580 cases, which was known as the first Chinese edition of Da Zang Jing as a privately printed edition and the first Buddhist scripture printed in the form of folded document. Such format set an example for the printing of Da Zang Jing in the later generations. Only odd volumes can be found all over the world at present.
