【详情介绍】
Bow view of the beached paddle steamer ‘Alaska’ after the Hong Kong Typhoon of 1874. Pencilled note on the reverse reads: ‘A vessel of 4000 tons. She had been taken round to Aberdeen to be docked on the night of typhoon. She broke from her buoy and was driven ashore, not however sustaining much damage. Vessel on the right is a Chinese junk. Hundreds of these were lost during the storm and the loss of life was fearful. The ‘Alaska’ was floated after being ashore about 2 months.’ -1874. Hong Kong Typhoon.

1874年香港台风后，“阿拉斯加”号搁浅桨轮船的船头视图。背面用铅笔写着：“一艘4000吨的船。台风当晚，她被带到阿伯丁码头。她从浮标上摔了下来，被冲上岸，但没有受到太大伤害。右边的船是一艘中国帆船。数百人在风暴中丧生，生命损失令人恐惧。“阿拉斯加”号在上岸约2个月后漂浮-1874.香港台风。
