本幅为「宋人集绘」册之一开。绘小犬嬉戏花猫于庭苑间，山石旁秋葵盛开，双蝶翩然起舞。用笔细致而佳趣活现，染绘皆极清奇婉丽。 画幅右下石间有「李迪」之款，然笔调风貌已晚，疑是后人仿作。按李迪（活动于公元12世纪），河南孟县人。北宋宣和时任职画院，授成忠郎，至南绍兴年间再复职，为书院副使，赐金带。工画花鸟、走兽、竹石。 |

This is the first leaf from the album collected Paintings by Sung Artists. Shown here is a small dog on the ground playing with a cat on a garden rock surrounded by hibiscus in bloom. Two butterflies flit about the left part of the painting. The brushwork is delicate and the scene lively, giving the work a sense of purity and beauty. On the rock in the lower right corner is a signature reading,” I Ti .”The style ,however, is a later, suggesting that the signature was added by somebody else. I Ti, a native of Honan province, served as a court painter in the late Northern Sung and resumed service in the early Southern Sung .He excelled at painting birds-and-flowers, animals, and bamboo-and-rocks. |

This is the first leaf from the album “Collected Paintings by Song Artists.” Shown here is a small dog on the ground playing with a cat on a garden rock surrounded by hibiscus in bloom. Two butterflies flit about the left part of the painting. The brushwork is delicate throughout and the scene lively, giving the work a sense of great purity and beauty. On the rock in the lower right corner is a signature that reads, “Li Di.” The brushwork, however, is later, suggesting an imitation. Li Di, a native of Mengxian in Henan, served as a court painter in the late Northern Song Painting Academy with the rank of Gentleman of Complete Loyalty. He resumed service in the early Southern Song during the Shaoxing reign, becoming Vice-Commissioner of the Painting Academy and receiving the Golden Belt. He excelled at painting birds-and-flowers, animals, and bamboo-and-rocks. |
