A photograph taken on 18 February 1939 at the dance of the Black Hat Lamas at Gyantse Monastery.
There are two copies of this photograph in the collection. Part of a collection of 81 loose black and white photographs taken by Fleming Mackenzie while serving in Tibet in 1938-1939. From the Collections of Lieut.-Col. Fleming Mackenzie, donated by his daughter Mrs Ann O’Neill in 2022.
